OUR MISSION

Our vision is to gather, heal, restore, and revitalize the community through the pursuit of excellence in jazz mentorship, learning and performance.  To that end, our mission is to serve the community by offering affordable access to public jazz performance opportunities through the classes and performance workshops offered at the school.  In memory of Stewart Kong's mentor, Arnie Lawrence, full tuition scholarships will be awarded to many students throughout the middle schools and high schools in Queens.  Moreover, the availability of adult performance workshops and early childhood jazz learning classes makes this school a crown jewel of jazz learning as well as a new jazz hub for the Queens community.
