Arnie Lawrence was my mentor who impressed upon me the importance of pouring life into music.  He was selflessly dedicated to teaching all generations and bridging gaps between people, promoting healing and unity.  The Arnie Lawrence Memorial Scholarship provides free tuition to this school in the form of a 2 year or 4 year scholarship for students who can demonstrate financial need and a long term commitment to learning at the Queens School of Jazz.  Applications can be requested from the school's Artistic Director.
